"A great blend is one that takes 1 + 1 and makes 3. This Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot from Bergerac (just outside of Bordeaux) is such a blend. The Cabernet gives the wine grip and aromatic fruit; the Merlot has just a touch of softness and a little herbaceous edge. Complex and lovely. Shovel the snow off and light the barbeque! -SJ"

Jonc Blanc's biodynamic wines are made by a fully-committed husband and wife team that walk the talk. Honesty permeates this non-main stream merlot-malbec blend that will drink happily for another 2-5 years (at least).
