Made from 13 year old vines. 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Wild yeast fermentation. Lively acidity and Granny Smith apple notes with a burst of fresh citrus fruit. A touch of oak from older barrels that adds complexity and depth to the wine. Fantastic now but will age 3-4 years. I would pair this with mussels in a wine sauce made from this wine or raw oysters.

Made from clones 7, 76 and 95. (wine geek info). Harvested by hand and whole-cluster pressed. Fermented in neutral oak French barrels 10-20 years old. Aromas of pineapple, peaches and oranges. The mouthfeel is is rich with pear and tropical fruit with a firm streak of acidity on the finish. Drink now through 2025.

My new favorite dry Rose in the store. Beautiful color of pink grapefruit with aromas of strawberries and cherries. Wonderful acidity and red fruits on the palate. The finish is incredible and lasts for 40 seconds. Lovely!!

What a wonderful wine from Northern Italy. Nebbiolo at its finest. Violets, rose petals and licorice on the nose and palate. The 2011 is drinking perfectly now as the tannins have softened and the fruit is still vibrant. Pair with Ribeye steak or lamb.

Wow, what a great deal in Chianti! From the humble generic Chianti DOCG, this wine over performs at every level. Beautiful red cherry fruit, soft tannins, just enough acidity to balance everything. Great value in a region that can get expensive. Drink now with lamb sausage.

Wow! If you like meaty, thick, heavy wines this is for you. Still a baby, I decanted it for two hours. A great expression of Rhone Syrah. Black fruit. medium tannins and a touch of oak. Had it with rack of lamb and it was perfect!

A stunning Cava in a beautiful package. Beautiful, small bubbles last forever in the glass and the red fruit flavors last forever in your mouth. I could still taste it 3 minutes after I finished it off. A great alternative to Rose Champagne.

Made from the somewhat unknown grape Pais. Freshly crushed strawberry aromas float out of the glass, followed by a hint of rose petals. A great change of pace from the Gamay grape. Try it chilled down for a 1/2 hour in the fridge.

A very easy drinking style of wine that could be chilled down a bit on a hot summer day. Red fruits and soft tannins lead to a juicy, berry-filled red wine that is lovely on its own or pair with a salad with raspberries and strawberries.

Opened this for my birthday. What a stunning wine! This is the closest thing to Krug I have tasted at 1/4 the price. Made in a slightly oxidative style, it tastes like it has seen some amount of wood aging. Super creamy in the mouth and the mousse is very fine and persistent. Lots of brioche, yeast, baking bread and granny smith apple aromas and flavors. It's hard to say a $95.00 wine is a bargain but this one is. All I can say is WOW!!!

100% Graciano from 40 year-old vines. Black cherries, black plums and vanilla highlight the aromas and flavors. Long finish. Fire up some spicy sausage on the grill for this one!

This will change your mind about what Beaujolais really is. Very full-bodied for a 100% Gamay wine, the Morgon "Cru" is always one of the most intense and long lived Beaujolais. The review on the Vinous website gave it "93" points and a drinking window of 2021 - 2028. With some air it opens up in the glass to a beautiful, black-fruited full-bodied wine with violets on the nose intermixed with crushed raspberries and black cherries. Lovely
