"Roundtree blackcurrant pastilles--yup, a childhood memory...but the pure cassis leaps out of the glass. Herbal and black olive notes, moderate ripe tannins, and a long ripe black cherry finish create a complex whole. Textbook Cab Sauv. I wasn't totally convinced on this wine when it was younger but it has rounded into form. It's an outstanding example of the grape variety and an excellent example of Cab Sauv wine. "Gloriously Chilean at the heart of this beauty. Outstanding wine making here highlighting Chilean Cabernet amazingly taking your senses on a journey with gorgeous notes of blackberries, baking spices, black pepper, purple flowers, sweet tobacco, and a hint of old leather. Pairs incredibly with red meats like grilled steak or slow cooked roast, or with a flavourful tagine. You might want to just sip and savour this little number though - its pretty darn good (as my colleague Sylvia says) :)"
