Wow! What a bargain. Next time you want a sweet wine with a not so serious price tag the Loizeau should be considered. Mega tropical fruit, great acidity to balance, a looooong finish. My socks were knocked off. As with Gary's previous review, open this bottle early to allow a little oxygen contact. This will be a repeat for me.

Is it pizza night? Whenever I'm pairing wine and food I usually try to match the wine's country to the cuisine. This new arrival from Italy is an easy sipper that's also easy on the pocketbook for those nights when cooking dinner is just too much. Mangia!

The dry rose trend continues but if you like a little sweetness in your wine this is the ticket. Rose d'Anjou always has some residual sugar as a rule and this is a beautiful and budget friendly version. If you're stuck on Moscato and White Zin and looking to ease into drier wines give this one a shot!

When hosting a dinner party why not try a dessert wine? At $9.99 for 375ml Casa Silva LH won't break the bank and is enough for 6 small glasses. "Late harvest" means the grapes are left on the vine past the usual time for picking causing them to shrivel and concentrating the sugars. The result is a deliciously sweet wine with tropical fruit and marmalade notes but balanced with a lively acidity. If you're not a baker serve with a cheese plate as your final course. Delicious!

At the moment this is my favourite white in the store in the "$15 and under" category. Lots of aromatics and beautiful ripe fruit with a hint of sweetness. I had it on it's own and it was delightful but I plan to give this one a whirl with appies at one of the many holiday parties that are on the horizon.

Sometimes this is the perfect size! Whether I am enjoying some wine by myself, or cooking and only need 1 cup (plus a little extra for the chef!) at $6.99 this is a go-to for me. Bonus, it's also delicious! This 375ml Carmenere is the sibling of the Falernia Cabernet Sauvignon that's so popular at the store. Try it, and some of our other wonderful 375ml selections, this weekend!

Provence is famous for it's dry rosé and this is a beautiful example and under $20! The Ludovic de Beausejour is elegant enough to savour but reasonable enough to enjoy on the patio without any seriousness. If you are new to dry rosé give this one a try.
