"Wanted to check in on where this is. Pansa Blanca (one of the grapes of Cava) is the star of this one. With lees aging you find there is some more richness on the palate. Nose has some earthiness, creamsicle, bruised pear, and slight citrus. Medium to full on the palate. Drink now while still available."

"Mineral-driven, old-vine Xarel-lo showing 6 months well spent on lees (but no oak). Wet stones and citrus; building depth on the palate; refreshing finish; not showy but extremely well made. Great now for its nervous intensity. Tough to know how this will age, but I'm willing to set a couple aside to find out over 2-5 years. The kinship with good Cava shows. Excellent.
