"Grignolino, a rare traditional Piedmont grape variety, quickly gained recognition for the young Tenuta Santa Caterina. This wine is an extremely pale and light bodied red with a potpourri elegance that reminds me of sepia-tinted photos and Art Deco. Its rose petals, garden walks, and Turkish Delight character may appeal to lovers of delicate Pinot Noirs. Excellent to outstanding. (2013 tasted 18 April 2017)"
