| | I tasted this wine at Poggio di Sotto in March 2017 and fell in love. Classic Sangiovese, with flavours of dried cherry, dusty earth, violets and spice. 2009 was a warm year yet this wine maintains its freshness and a core of minerality, something that only the very best producers were able to do.
