About the Producer
|
It’s all about keeping up with the McManises. Since 1938 the McManis family has been farming in California’s central valley, with orchards across this interior region. In 1990, Ron and Jamie McManis purchased River Junction Appellation vineyards between the Stanislaus and San Joaquin rivers. In a region otherwise known for its heat and everyday wines, this hidden gem consistently supplies cooler temperatures and optimal grape growing conditions. Through sustainability practices and clean energy programs this tight knit farming family create premium wines at a reasonable cost. They have been advocates for Lodi Rules standards, the Lodi agricultural community standard that embraces responsibility to care both for the environment and the people. Today, with over 4,000 acres of superior vines, McManis holds true to quality production techniques, where each batch reflects the terroir authentically. This mindset allows these fourth and fifth generation farmers to consistently create high quality, fresh, balanced wines vintage after vintage from grape to bottle.

| Mike Muirhead "Sometimes it is good to revisit an old friend that you haven't spoken to in a while. It had been over a year since I tried our #1 selling Cab in the store. It wont be a year before I try it again. Checks all the boxes - Blackberry, Red Fruits, Rich, Full, Long finish, easy to love. There is a reason it is on top!!" | | Sylvia Jansen "Our best selling Cab, beautiful black and red fruits in a structured frame, rich, long finish, easy to love." |
