Deep garnet. Nose: floral notes of violet and incense, ripe black fruit, mocha, toffee and cola. Mouth: great structure, full-bodied, balanced acidity and alcohol, flavourful black cherry, blueberry, fig and a chocolatey edge to sweet blackcurrant. “Intellectually satisfying“, revealing round and elegant tannins in a sustained length.
