Fresh, medium body, cool climate red made from Gamay, Malbec, Pinot Noir and Cabernet. True Loire Valley style red that's ideal for a wide range of food pairings from white meats and veggies to lighter red cuts. Best served cool (14C) to accent the fresh fruit. Great value. Valencay is a lesser known Loire Valley region between Touraine and Sancerre. Very good. (2015 tasted 16 Sep 2017)

Great wine, one of S Africa's best, ergo one of the great wine values in the world. Entirely made from old bush vines (88% Chenin, 12% Semillon) barrel-fermented and aged. Full body, rich mid-palate with a panoply of rich fruit, fine oak flavours and evolving spice notes and an easy 3-5 years of aging potential. Lovers of big new world wines pay attention. A great wine for rich chicken and pork dishes. (2013 tasted 16 Sep 2017)

Super fine bubbles highlight this blend of Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir made by the Traditonal Method . Citrus/apples/pears and wet stone minerality are carried by fresh acidity through a palate-cleansing finish. Great for pan fried fish, shellfish, white meats or an aperitif. This wine has a growing legacy of accolades in the French wine press. Excellent. (16 Sep 2017)

From stylish, modern Portugal: crisp white, melon and almond notes, dry but not bone dry. Pair with popcorn or take-out and enjoy.

Stony, almost saline white wine with entrained CO2 currently masking the elegant citrus and stone fruit character (hint: decant to open up the flavours). Flavour builds on the taut, structured palate. This is a sophisticated blend of White Grenache and Viognier for seafood, fish and chicken with oil/cream sauces. It's designed to drink young but will likely drink for 5-6 years. EXCELLENT.

Wow is this tasting great! I sampled the 2015 at the winery in March but forgot just how yummy it was until I opened a bottle on the weekend. A smooth and delicious blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah and Teroldego that always overdelivers for the price.

Stylish white Port: on a warm weekend, pour over ice, add tonic water and lemon wedge. On cool evenings, just chill and pour.

Fun name, fun label, fun wine! Ripe and racy on the palate this wine is full of tropical fruit flavours, notes of honey and white flowers. Creamy on the palate thanks to some time spent ageing on the lees this wine is sure to be a crowd pleasing style that offers tons of versatility when it comes to food-pairing options.

The 2015 vintage has arrived and what a treat! Only 4700 cases of this 60%Cab Sauv & 40% Merlot gem where produced. Organically farmed and fermented with indigenous yeasts. Blackberry, plum, leather and spice with polished tannins and balanced acidity. Delivers complexity and finesse above its price point!

Cinque (five in Italian) refers to the 5 grape varieties that make up the wine — Sangiovese, Mammolo, Colorino, Fogliatonda & Ciliegiolo, very traditional Tuscan grapes. The vineyards are farmed organically and wines made with a natural, non-interventionist approach. Complex notes of cherries, citrus, rose petal, violet, and herbs, a silky mouthfeel with fresh acidity. We can count ourselves very lucky to receive a small allocation of Giovanna Morganti's highly sought after wines!
